The morning light is a wonderful time to shoot... The light is quite special then... also in the last hour before sunset. We call this light "golden hour" light.
In addition to light, design is important. That means to move in and fill the frame, only keeping the essential elements. Consider converting to B and W too... it can be quite expressive...
