It was hard for me to find a model for this week's project :-) So I did my own self portraits. This was so fun because I used ortonish, vignette, drop shadows, soft focus, graduated tint with custom colors, warmify and cross-process in these photos.
Nice Dawn... my favorite is the top one. The framing, expression and light is lovely...I'm not so fond of the straight warmify filter on Picasa... it can be improved by adding more contrast and making the blacks richer... see Casey's work above.
The bottom one is pushed too hard so that the skin tones are "blown out".
I have to give you credit for being creative and taking your own photo. I too had trouble getting people to want to have their picture taken. I think I like the second photo the best.
